Lori Morrell Lomas
Lori is an Enrolled Agent, licensed to practice before the IRS, as well as a California-licensed Insurance Agent. She has been in the financial services industry since 1976. A Quincy resident for over three decades, Lori has been in business in Plumas County since 1992. She is highly regarded in the community not only for her tax preparation services, but also for helping people with retirement planning and health insurance needs. Among the insurance products she offers are Covered California health insurance plans, Medicare supplements and prescription plans, and retirement annuities.
Tax Preparer / Notary Public
Curtis Lomas
Curtis has an extensive background in real estate, finance, and government programs (over twenty years with the State of Alaska and Plumas County), as well as public policy research at the University of Alaska. Curtis is a California Registered Tax Preparer with more than 15 years of experience in tax preparation, a Notary Public, and a retired real estate broker. Curtis is ready, willing, and able to help you with all of your tax preparation needs, including real estate-related tax issues. Notary services are also available by appointment.
Accounting Manager
Breeann Pence
Accounting manager Breeann Pence joined Feather Financial in 2009 as a receptionist and since then has taken on progressively more complex responsibilities. Her professional and helpful attitude and wealth of knowledge have made her a valued resource for our clients. In addition to bookkeeping services, Breeann manages the office and co-ordinates all of our departments and staff.
Front Office
Hailey Crump
Hailey is the newest member of the Feather Financial team. She is a lifelong Plumas County resident and a graduate of Quincy High School. Her intelligence and bright, positive personality make her a superb addition to our front office staff.
Bookkeeping
Theresa Sharp
Theresa is a long time Quincy resident, with over 20 years of customer service and 8 years of billing/bookkeeping experience in Plumas County. She fosters a lifelong love of the theatre, and has been in numerous local productions. She joined the Feather Financial team in July 2024. Her positive attitude and willingness to tackle any project make her a valued member of our staff. She is doing a great job serving our growing bookkeeping clientele.
Payroll Accountant
Cassie Beaver
At the end of May 2025, Payroll Accountant, Cassie Beaver, celebrated her first busy year with our Feather Financial team. With her strong background in Sales/Office Management and Accounting, she has an uncanny ability to find discrepancies and problem-solve. She is a natural at calculating and loves to learn. Born and raised in Susanville, CA (when it was still a small logging community), in 2009 she fell in love with a beautiful acre in Meadow Valley and ended up raising her 2 sons there. Cassie specializes in Payroll/Employment Tax and Certified Payroll. She is a driven and self-motivated member of our team and many local clients depend on her for all of their Payroll needs.
